About Poga 2000 ApS<\/h2>\n

At Poga, since 1998, we have made it a priority to maintain a highly personal and discreet approach towards our customers.<\/p>\n

Poga 2000 ApS is a pilot car company with an extensive network and will always do its best to find the optimal solution for your specific task.<\/p>\n

Poga is a small company that puts transport safety as its top priority.<\/p>\n

Therefore, Poga is STA certified and ensures that all insurances are in place.<\/p>\n

The Story of Poga<\/h3>\n

When Per Olsen started Poga 2000 in 1998, he had many years of experience driving trucks both nationally and internationally. <\/p>\n

Per immediately began building new relationships and creating a broad network.<\/p>\n

When he bought the black Ford in 2002, he chose to have rotating beacons installed and “WIDE LOAD” signs fitted.<\/p>\n

That’s when ‘Poga Pilot Cars’ began.<\/p>\n

Lasse was taken on for training right away and quickly developed an interest in the pilot car industry.<\/p>\n

In 2005, when Lasse completed his military service, it became, as expected, his part-time occupation to drive pilot cars.<\/p>\n

However, Lasse had some other visions he wanted to pursue.<\/p>\n

He followed in his father’s footsteps and became an export truck driver.<\/p>\n

In 2008, Lasse chose to rejoin the military. He was discharged again in 2010, when he resumed his dream of driving trucks. <\/p>\n

In 2011, Lasse worked full-time for Per as a pilot car driver.<\/p>\n

Due to a decline in business, he stopped again.<\/p>\n

In June 2015, the tragic news came that Per was diagnosed with cancer.<\/p>\n

Poga 2000 was now hanging by a thread.<\/p>\n

On July 12, 2015, at 03:12, he passed away surrounded by his family.<\/p>\n

Lasse chose to continue the family business and took over Poga 2000 on August 16, 2015.<\/p>\n

1998<\/h3>
The dream (Poga 2000 ApS) became a reality for Per Rostgaard Olsen.<\/p>\n

The business started with an older Ford Transit from the 80s.<\/p>\n

That same year, it was replaced with a newer Citroen Jumper.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div>

Lasse (son) becomes part-time employed as a courier.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div>

The company expands with a 4WD Suzuki Grand Vitara.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div>

The Ford (BLACK) is retired (575,000km) and replaced with a new Ford (YELLOW)<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div>

2015<\/h3>
Per Rostgaard Olsen falls ill with cancer, and just 4 weeks later passes away (July 12, 2015).<\/p>\n
